FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Then, at last, coming to America for a better life!
Cindy Scott, Marion Ghent’s daughter, has fulfilled her mother’s dying wish to finish her mother’s memoir. Marion Ghent’s story is revealed here, offering a legacy from the simple life of living among the coconut groves, to her unwavering faith in God, in Never Forsaken.
This book is a labor of love for Cindy Scott who was brought to America from Manila in 1964. Travelling without her parents, Cindy, and her brother, were sent first with their mother to follow. As an accomplished writer and oil paint artist, Cindy spent 29 years serving as a U.S. Air Force military spouse, having resided all over the U.S. and Europe. With her husband Wayne, they have spent twenty-five years in marriage ministry. Cindy also spent twenty of those years in leadership positions on the board of officers' spouses clubs in the military. After retiring in 2005, Cindy and her husband moved to Yorba Linda in 2006 where they have resided ever since. Keeping her promise to her mother, Cindy is now releasing this story relating that we are “never forsaken” by God.
Readers will be amazed at Marion's active faith, strength and courage as Marion relies on God. Her life demonstrates the incredible gift of the Gospel and the love of God from which nothing can separate us, not hardship, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword, as spoken of in Scripture.
What an unforgettable true story of triumphant faith and God’s faithfulness!
